So pretty slim margin.īut as long as I don't go max drag, it won't break. Because my line tension, on Max Drag -1, is up on the highest part before breaking, that uppermost marker, with just a small sliver of red. So now when I snag a big brown or one of these rainbows, I always know it.
XD My setup was a bit wonky on my second trip. On the right of that boulder, closer to the shallows you can walk across, I got my first unique, but that rainbow spinner has also picked up smallmouth bass occasionally. But to the left of the boulder, out towards the deep water, I've been taking a lot of rainbows, but some browns and trophy browns as well. So far, in my experience there with it, I've also picked up a unique on a yellow/red shad. Off towards the eastern fast travel point, near those two rocks. Cloudy day, 1:30pm, literally first day in Oregon, I snagged a 6.946 lb one with it. specifically, facing lake, move to left side of bridge and throw around the mouth of that boulder / cave looking structure, you should see a lot of fish jump in that area and trophy / uni rainbows are more predictable there, but if you throw past it you get some big browns too.Īnd I have definitely caught some good uniques on that rainbow spinner. One of my favorite places is standing on the bridge and just throw where you see them jumping. Oregon is one of my favorite places to fish in this game, but it seems to me that as long as you catch a lot of fish, you will get those big ones in there too. For bait, I throw everything on 1/0 or 2/0 crickets, natural eggs, spawn eggs and mayflies.

75oz rose night narrow spoon (works in daytime too -) ) as well as the Bison nano spinner from the 4th of July event pack or rewards. 5 oz barbless spinner that you get as a reward with red (cloudy) or yellow tail (sunny) gets a lot of great big fish there.
